Data Engineering Intern - Remote

Overview

As a Data Engineering Intern, you will work with the Business Intelligence team to help extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from both internal and external sources into a Snowflake data warehouse.

In Short

• Analyze, extract, transform, and load data into a Snowflake warehouse.
• Use SQL and API calls for data extraction and transformation.
• Manage data flows using Airflow in Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with engineers and report developers.
• Participate in daily team huddles.
• Work with product owners and QA staff to validate code.
• Update a JIRA Kanban board and sprint board.
• Gain hands-on experience in an agile environment.
• Work 40 hours per week from June 16, 2025, to August 18, 2025.
• Must be located in CA, AZ, CO, NC, or UT during the internship.

Requirements

• Senior Undergraduate Student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Git, and Linux.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Airflow, and Snowflake.
