Automation Product Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Automation Product Specialist is responsible for assisting Inside and Outside sales to drive sales of Rockwell Automation's PLC, HMI, and Software technology products and solutions to customers. The goal is to build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products and solutions.

• Meet or exceed sales goals of assigned technology offer
• Lead and support sales efforts with key targets and customers
• Provide technical support for customers via on-site visits, phone, and email
• Establish relationships to understand sales potential
• Work with sales to establish joint strategies
• Provide expert knowledge to facilitate quoting and order processes
• Create and present technical training for customers
• Describe or demonstrate products to customers
• Prepare for sales calls and customer events
• Work with Purchasing on inventory of high-tech products

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• High School or GED - Required
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
• Intermediate/advanced computer skills with Excel/Outlook/Word
• Ability to analyze and interpret business documents
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Effective presentation and communication skills
• Good interpersonal relations and communication etiquette
• Ability to develop and present specialized instruction
