RevenueCat removes the headaches of building and scaling in‑app subscriptions. Since graduating from YC’s S18 batch we’ve grown into the default monetization platform for mobile: we’re in >40% of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $10B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo dev in Brazil to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.

In Short

• We’re looking for a highly capable, experienced Controller to own and scale the accounting function at RevenueCat.
• You will be the company’s most senior accounting leader and will partner closely with our Head of Finance.
• Lead the month-end close, oversee financial reporting, manage audits, elevate controls and processes.
• Shape the infrastructure that enables us to achieve long-term goals.
• You have 8+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years at a Big 4 accounting firm.
• You hold an active CPA and have deep experience with US GAAP and financial reporting.
• You’ve played a meaningful accounting role at a SaaS or enterprise software company.
• You are comfortable operating with limited oversight and enjoy building accounting processes.
• You have prior people management experience and enjoy mentoring and developing talent.
• Competitive equity in a fast-growing startup and a fully remote work environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience leading audits and managing external audit relationships.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and problem-solving.
• Experience with Stripe, QuickBooks Online, and/or implementing an ERP.
• Knowledge of US accounting, payroll, and tax frameworks.
• Detail-oriented and process-oriented.
• Experience with global payroll and M&A is a plus.
