Accountant (m/f/d) - Large Battery Storage - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a committed and experienced Accountant (m/f/d) to support our team with expertise and passion for renewable energies.

In Short

• Responsible for the complete processing of ongoing accounting, including payroll and various project companies.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB (knowledge of IFRS is an advantage).
• Monitoring and handling of payment transactions and conducting bank reconciliations.
• Support in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Clarification of accounting issues in close collaboration with internal departments and external partners.
• Management of funding projects and billing related to energy projects.
• Participation in the optimization and digitization of financial processes.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training or degree with a focus on financial accounting, controlling, or similar.
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in renewable energy, energy projects, or infrastructure.
• Very good knowledge of accounting software (especially Exact Globe or comparable) – experience with data migration is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of German commercial law (HGB) and ideally experience with international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong affinity for numbers, a careful and structured working style, and a high degree of initiative and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Team spirit, strong communication skills, and an affinity for sustainable energy solutions.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
