Accountant (m/f/d) - Remote

Overview

GotPhoto is seeking an experienced Accountant to develop our financial processes as we grow our team and operations.

In Short

• Work in the main ledger and manage account reconciliations and payments.
• Actively participate in preparing monthly and annual financial statements for our German-speaking companies.
• Collaborate with teams from different departments to improve efficiency.
• Support new team members during onboarding and using tools like DATEV and Spendesk.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in accounting, ideally with a focus on HGB.
• Familiarity with DATEV, digital receipt tools, and Excel.
• Good understanding of VAT regulations and initial experience with consolidation and intercompany reconciliation.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoys communication with other teams.
• Fluent in German and good command of English.
