In Short

• We are looking for a Junior WiFi & Cable Modem Tester.
• Hands-on work with DOCSIS 3.1 cable modems and home gateways.
• Initial project work in our test lab in Hasselt.
• Will work remotely most of the time, with max 2 days at the local team in Ans.
• Responsible for manual testing on WiFi and cable modem devices.
• Analyze requirements and design test cases.
• Conduct functional WiFi tests and UI tests.
• Troubleshoot and report defects.
• Use network sniffers like Wireshark for packet analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Affinity for connectivity and network technology.
• General knowledge of WiFi; WiFi 7 knowledge is a plus.
• Understanding of OSI layers, TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCPv4/DHCPv6.
• Eager to learn and grow towards consultancy roles.
• Flexibility to visit clients in the future is a plus.
