Overview

The Associate Director of Major Gifts will oversee a portfolio of major donors, focusing on strategic fundraising efforts while promoting diversity and inclusion.

In Short

• Manage a portfolio of ~100 major donors capable of six-figure gifts.
• Make direct solicitations and manage donor relationships.
• Collaborate with senior staff and board members.
• Identify and engage diverse political donors.
• Maintain clear records of donor communications.
• Stay updated on organizational programs.
• Draft donor communications and reports.
• Travel for fundraising events and donor meetings.
• Supervise the Major Gifts Officer and Prospect Research Manager.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience with major donors and fundraising.
• Ability to work with executive staff and board members.
• Knowledge of progressive funders.
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supervising staff.
• Willingness to travel.
