Overview

The Social Media Coordinator will focus on building capacity for the social team by supporting state social accounts and enhancing the state social media presence.

In Short

• Assist state chapters with social media content for local events and campaigns.
• Provide guidance on social media best practices and content planning.
• Review chapter-generated content for brand alignment.
• Monitor social media performance and share insights.
• Maintain communication with state teams for digital support.
• Collaborate with national communications team for cohesive messaging.
• Manage social media calendars for consistent posting.
• Support live social media coverage during events.
• Assist national social media channels as needed.
• Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience.
• Strong organizational and writing skills.
• Experience with Slack, Google Workspace, and Canva.
• Knowledge of social media best practices and calendar tools.
• Experience analyzing performance metrics.
• Project management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to competing priorities.
