Director of Major Gifts - Remote

Overview

The Director of Major Gifts will play a pivotal role in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, responsible for identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major donors to support Upwardly Global's mission.

In Short

• Implement a new major gift program for Upwardly Global.
• Develop donor solicitation strategies for identified major gift prospects.
• Work with the National Leadership Council to enhance corporate giving.
• Manage a donor stewardship program.
• Maintain accurate donor profiles on Salesforce.
• Track and assess major gift fundraising metrics.
• Research and qualify potential mid-level and major donors.
• Create personalized communication plans for donors.
• Assist in planning donor engagement opportunities.
• Represent the organization at community events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising.
• At least 7 years of frontline fundraising experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in donor database systems and fundraising software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Passion for Upwardly Global's mission.
