Overview

The U.S. Soccer Federation exists in service to soccer. Our aim is to ignite a national passion for the game. Because we believe that soccer is more than a sport; it is a force for good.

In Short

• Key member of U.S. Soccer’s major giving team.
• Responsible for building relationships and generating philanthropic support.
• Manage a portfolio of approximately 50-75 donors and prospects.
• Implement strategies to acquire and grow major gift prospects.
• Achieve personal fundraising goals and contribute to team goals.
• Travel to visit donors and attend events as necessary.
• Collaborate across the organization to maximize donor potential.
• Prepare leadership with prospect and donor information.
• Supervise and mentor the Development Coordinator.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; master's degree or CFRE Certification preferred.
• Minimum of five years of experience in major gifts fundraising.
• Success in securing gifts of $100,000 or more.
• Experience in capital campaign fundraising.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
• Experience in mentorship and guidance.
