As a Payroll & HR Compliance Specialist at Reprise Financial, you'll ensure payroll operations are accurate, efficient, and compliant while being part of a dynamic HR team.

In Short

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a hybrid and remote workforce.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
• Monitor multi-state payroll tax registrations and reporting requirements.
• Act as the payroll system expert, preferably with ADP experience.
• Conduct internal payroll audits and prepare payroll filings.
• Track and interpret labor laws for HR compliance.
• Provide support during audits and manage compliance reporting.
• Support the implementation of corrective action plans following audits.
• Maintain leave of absence programs for compliance.
• Work collaboratively with the HR team to enhance employee experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Experience transitioning off a PEO and optimizing payroll systems.
• Knowledge of U.S. payroll laws and HR-related compliance.
• Strong background in payroll audits and compliance reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in payroll systems (ADP preferred) and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills to simplify complex regulations.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with HR team.
