FP&A Analyst - Remote

Overview

As an FP&A Analyst at Rentable, you will help the company understand its performance and focus areas by transforming data into actionable insights.

In Short

• Develop annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Create and maintain models to predict performance under various conditions.
• Analyze differences between actual results and budgets/forecasts.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy across financial and operational reporting.
• Partner with the CFO and leadership for data-driven decision-making.
• Build and maintain dashboards for visibility into company performance.
• Identify gaps in data and improve data quality.
• Support preparation of leadership-level reporting and presentations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• 2+ years of hands-on work experience with SQL.
• 2+ years experience with a data visualization tool, preferably DOMO.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a quantitative field.
• Experience in a startup environment.
• Excellent analytics and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to synthesize data into executive-ready insights.
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
• High attention to detail and diligence in verifying accuracy.
