Director of Financial Planning & Analysis - Remote

In Short

• Lead the preparation and coordination of the annual budget and forecasts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
• Develop comprehensive financial reporting packages for management.
• Provide accurate financial forecasts reflecting business needs.
• Analyze acquisitions and business development opportunities.
• Support capital raise efforts with financial models and analysis.
• Implement improvements to financial processes and reporting.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations teams for accurate reporting.
• Communicate financial performance to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior FP&A team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in FP&A or similar roles.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Experience with budgeting and financial reporting processes.
• Partner with leadership to provide strategic financial insights.
• Understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
• Proficient in Google Sheets, Excel, and financial modeling tools.
• Strong communication skills for presenting financial information.
• Detail-oriented and adaptable in a startup environment.
• Experience in energy or related industries preferred.
