Staff Process Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Staff Process Engineer will be responsible for identifying suitable designs, equipment, and processes for qualifying PQFN packages for Smart Power Stage products, managing cost-saving projects, and ensuring quality and yield standards are met.

• Identify suitable designs and processes for PQFN packages.
• Establish and execute process characterizations and qualifications.
• Manage cost-saving projects and alternate BOM qualifications.
• Review and update process specifications with OSAT.
• Ramp up manufacturing volume and manage assembly yield improvements.
• Implement WIP data tracking and monitor quality indices.
• Collaborate with Test/Product Engineers for issue resolution.
• Manage Product Lifecycle Management documents.
• Conduct change management with suppliers.

Requirements

• PhD/Masters/Bachelor in Mechanical, Material Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in process engineering or package development.
• Understanding of PQFN/QFN/WLCSP package capabilities.
• Knowledge of semiconductor assembly processes and SPC.
• Successful qualification and release of new packages into production.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Analytical and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel locally and abroad.
