Overview

The company is seeking a Senior IT Engineer to support the global operation of IT and network systems across enterprise-level environments in Japan and Asia.

In Short

• Design, build, and operate a global network for 20 countries with 20,000 employees.
• Manage and support all aspects of LAN, WAN, and wireless LAN.
• Collaborate with global teams for network design and hands-on implementation.
• Design and implement networks in line with company integrations.
• Design and implement wired and wireless LANs during office relocations.
• Revamp network infrastructure using SD-WAN, cloud, and Zero Trust technologies.
• Manage projects ensuring service delivery meets goals, deadlines, budget, and quality.
• Oversee continuous operational support with external partners.
• Promote ongoing system improvements and optimizations.

Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in corporate network design, build, and operations.
• Practical knowledge and experience in LAN, WAN, and security.
• Flexible communication skills.
• Experience working in Japanese and English.
• Preferred experience in infrastructure for global companies.
• Project management experience.
• Network certifications such as CCNP or CCNA.
• Basic knowledge of DNS and domains.
• Experience in building and supporting wireless LANs.
• Experience with SD-WAN and security frameworks like UTM, especially Fortigate.
