Customer & Product Quality Engineering Manager - Remote

Overview

Renesas Electronics America, Inc. is looking for a Customer & Product Quality Engineering Manager interested in being part of the Quality Engineering team located in San Jose.

In Short

• Manage multiple customer accounts supporting quality issues and FA claims.
• Lead cross-functional teams for root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Support Sales & Marketing with technical product quality questions.
• Build partnerships with various teams to promote Quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with multicultural teams from various countries.
• Support new business NPI and technical customer scorecard issues.
• Generate quality presentations for customers and products.
• Engage in projects to streamline processes and upgrade systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years with BSEE or 8 years with MSEE.
• Experience with customer claims and FA Support.
• Familiarity with 8D Problem solving and root cause analysis tools.
• Experience working with Tier 1 customers.
• Basic knowledge of circuits and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to support limited domestic & international travel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office/Excel; data analytics is a plus.
• Preferred background in Product Engineering.
