Payroll Specialist Lead - Mexico - Remote

In Short

• Assist in preparing and sending the bimonthly report on salary variables (SBC variable).
• Record movements in SUA and IDSE under supervision.
• Assist in the preliminary calculation of ISN (Payroll Tax) and in uploading data to state portals.
• Support in meeting basic audit requirements or IMSS or SAT reviews.
• Provide administrative and operational support in the payroll process.
• Technical support tasks, data entry, and preliminary review of payroll information.
• Experience in payroll processes with an emphasis on social security.
• Knowledge of SUA, IDSE, and SIPARE laws.
• Understanding of global Social Security and local taxes.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in payroll processes in Mexico.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Willingness to learn technical subjects.
• Discretion in handling confidential matters.
• Practical knowledge of ISN declarations and payments.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience with in-house payroll processing is a plus.
• Experience in Mexico end-to-end payroll processing.
• Remote work experience is a plus.
