Overview

A reliable and detail-driven Procurement & Orders Assistant to support UK-based clients with purchasing and order management operations in a fully remote role.

In Short

  • Raise, process, and track purchase orders from initiation through to delivery confirmation
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotes, confirm orders, and resolve delivery issues
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier details, order history, and pricing
  • Monitor stock levels and flag low inventory or supply chain disruptions to management
  • Reconcile purchase orders against invoices and flag discrepancies for finance teams
  • Support the procurement team with contract administration and supplier onboarding
  • Generate regular procurement reports including spend analysis and order status updates
  • Assist with ad-hoc purchasing tasks and administrative support as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support role
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or procurement software
  • Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — in English
  • Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with good commercial awareness
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is advantageous
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, self-managed environment
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home workspace
