Operations Manager - Recruitment Agency - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Manager to support the daily operations of a dynamic recruitment agency based in the Netherlands. This is a fully remote position for candidates based in South Africa, offering an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a fast-growing, international business.

In Short

• Oversee and manage daily operations of the recruitment agency to ensure high efficiency and service standards
• Develop and implement process improvements and operational strategies
• Collaborate with recruitment teams, administrators, and external stakeholders across different countries
• Monitor KPIs, prepare performance reports, and present operational insights to the leadership team
• Manage internal systems including CRM, project management, and communication tools
• Ensure compliance with contracts, legal documents, and data handling standards
• Support onboarding, process training, and internal team development
• Act as a liaison between the Netherlands-based leadership and the remote South African team
• Lead or contribute to cross-border projects, tech integrations, and international recruitment campaigns

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in operations or business support within a recruitment or professional services environment
• Proven experience working with international teams and clients is non-negotiable
• Demonstrated ability to operate across time zones and cultures in a remote setting
• Strong project management, planning, and organisational skills
• Proficient in Google Workspace and platforms such as Trello, Monday.com, Notion, or equivalent
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, both written and verbal
• Must be highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
• A reliable internet connection and a personal laptop are required
