An established UK-based recruitment consultancy is seeking a skilled and driven Business Development Manager to join their growing team. With over six years in the industry, the company is now ready to bring on a dynamic professional to take ownership of the business development function. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth, building client relationships, and securing new job mandates. If you have a proven track record in financial or banking recruitment BD or consulting sales and thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact.

In Short

  • Utilise LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other tools for lead generation and pipeline building.
  • Conduct outreach via cold calling, warm calling, and email campaigns to engage prospective clients.
  • Set up and lead BD sales meetings to secure job descriptions and partnership agreements.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the client base across international markets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline progress and sales activities.
  • Collaborate closely with the founder to align BD initiatives with overall business goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development within banking or financial recruitment, management consulting, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment sales processes and client acquisition strategies.
  • Experience in finance or professional services sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results without micromanagement.
  • International BD experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a down-to-earth, professional approach.
  • Access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable laptop for remote work.
