Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Podcast Editor to take ownership of audio and video editing for every episode of our podcast. Editing is the heart of this role. Beyond editing, you will support pre-production planning, assist with guest coordination, and handle publishing and distribution to podcast platforms. You will also use AI tools to streamline the content workflow and support the host with episode ideation.

In Short

• Edit full-length podcast episodes for audio quality.
• Edit video versions of episodes for YouTube and social media.
• Add intro and outro music, branded elements, and chapter markers.
• Create short-form video clips and audiograms for social media promotion.
• Collaborate with the host to develop episode topics and content direction.
• Use AI tools to research episode ideas and generate outlines.
• Manage guest communication and coordinate scheduling.
• Facilitate recording sessions and ensure audio/video quality.
• Submit the podcast to major directories like Apple Podcasts.
• Write compelling show notes and ensure content reflects the podcast's voice.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience producing and launching podcasts.
• Proficiency with Riverside.fm or similar platforms.
• Strong audio and video editing skills.
• Experience writing SEO-friendly show notes.
• Comfortable using AI tools in production workflows.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Organized and reliable with timelines and deadlines.
