In Short

• We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to help build and scale Remark’s platform.
• You’ll work across the stack, touching both the backend and frontend.
• This is a high-ownership role with flexibility to shape technical decisions.
• We build on a modern TypeScript-based stack.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and performant full-stack applications.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and security across the stack.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Ability to work independently and solve complex problems.
• Report directly to our Chief Technology Officer.
• Hybrid work flexibility with the opportunity to WFH 2 days/week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Must be able to commit to at least 3 days/week in person in our Boston, MA office.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with React and Next.js or similar frameworks.
• Experience with backend frameworks for Node.js.
• Familiarity with databases and ORMs.
• Strong willingness to learn and work across both frontend and backend technologies.
• Nice-to-have: Experience at a fast-growing startup.
