The Legal Data Expert will contribute expertise in Civil Rights and Environmental Law while leading a team to maintain and analyze legal datasets at Lex Machina, a pioneering legal technology company.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree (JD).
• Familiarity with US Civil Rights law and litigation procedures.
• 3+ years of legal experience in relevant fields.
• Strong interest in data analysis.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Tech-savvy with ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Experience with database queries (e.g., SQL).
• Ability to work independently and manage projects.
• Admitted to practice law in the US preferred.
• Experience with remote teams is a plus.
