Associate Tax Manager - Compliance and Reporting - Remote

Overview

The Associate Tax Manager will assist in managing federal and state tax compliance and reporting, providing opportunities for technical growth and development within a global tax team.

In Short

• Support federal, US international, state, and local income/franchise tax return compliance.
• Interact with and support the outsourced compliance provider.
• Manage monthly federal and state tax account reconciliation.
• Assist with tax reporting processes.
• Support federal and state tax audits as needed.
• Identify and assist with automation and process improvements.
• Build key internal and external working relationships.
• Collaborate with global tax team members.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Requirements

• Degree in accounting or finance and CPA certification.
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting or in-house corporate tax.
• 2+ years of experience with income tax accounting is preferred.
• Experience with accounting methods is a plus.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive and culturally aware.
• Able to present complex data effectively.
