Community Manager - French Speaker (Contract) - Remote

Overview

We are searching for a strategic community management and operations expert to join the International Community team and help grow outside of the US. As an integral part of the Product organization, the International Community team plays a key role in helping team realize its mission: bringing community and belonging to everyone in the world.

In Short

• Gain a deep understanding of the market and identify user and moderator pain points.
• Cultivate and grow a local community of moderators.
• Be a public face with local volunteer moderators to build trust.
• Iterate and scale the consumer growth playbook.
• Communicate insights to optimize the international consumer growth playbook.
• Be obsessive about achieving aggressive goals.
• Run reports, build dashboards, and analyze data.
• Work cross-functionally with various teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of community development or project management experience.
• Deep knowledge of French culture and current events.
• Nuanced comprehension of the digital landscape in France.
• Succinct and persuasive communicator.
• Results-obsessed with high attention to detail.
• Interest in developing and driving projects.
• Proficiency in French & English and based in the EU timezone.
• Resident of the UK, France, Netherlands, or Germany.
• 12 months contract.
• Proficient in SQL.
