Graduate Cyber Intern - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Graduate Cyber Intern to join the Red Cell Cyber Practice. This internship is a highly competitive program for individuals looking to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background in cybersecurity and a passion for understanding market trends, innovative technologies, and applying cybersecurity solutions to real-world problems.

In Short

• Aid in the creation of high-quality deliverables such as market reports, competitive landscape analyses, technical one-pagers, and presentations.
• Conduct detailed research and analysis on cybersecurity trends, emerging technologies, policies and regulations, and threats.
• Assist in diligence on potential investments by analyzing technical feasibility, market potential, competitive advantages, and product differentiation.
• Provide the Cyber Practice with operational and administrative support.
• Support the operational needs of Red Cell incubation companies.
• Help with coordination of events, logistics, and materials for team engagements and meetings.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Business (with a focus on cybersecurity), Cyber Policy, Cybersecurity, Cyber Threat or Risk Management, or a related field.
• Able to work at least 20 hours/week (if during the semester) or 40 hours/week during the Summer.
• Must be able to obtain an active security clearance.
• Must agree to and sign a non-disclosure agreement, which will include social media guidelines.
• Interest in technology development, startups, and solving complex business problems.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Familiarity with emerging areas such as AI/ML in cybersecurity.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with the ability to take direction and deliver outcomes independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
