Skillbridge Cyber Security Program - Remote

Overview

Red Canary has elected to participate in the Department of Defense’s Skillbridge Program. We are excited to be part of assisting our Nation’s Military personnel in transitioning from Active Duty to Civilian life. Red Canary’s goal is to provide both the general skills (e.g, resume support, interviewing, peer interaction), and specialized skills (e.g., cyber security operations, analysis, engineering) that are required to be successful after separation. We also hope to create a pipeline of job opportunities to expand to our growing Veteran employee base.

In Short

• Participate in the Skillbridge Program for transitioning military personnel.
• Receive general skills training such as resume support and interviewing.
• Be assigned a mentor from the Canary Veterans pool.
• Focus on specialized skills in Cyber Security.
• Exposure to various Technology and Security skill sets.
• Support for external job searches and career goals.
• Mock interviews and resume review assistance.
• Eligibility requires current Active Duty status and plans to separate within a year.
• Initial focus on candidates with Cyber Security operational experience.
• Opportunity to expand to a growing Veteran employee base.

Requirements

• Must be Active Duty U.S. Military personnel.
• Plans to separate from military service within the next year.
• Current Cyber Security operational experience preferred.
• Interest in transitioning to civilian life.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills.
