Principal Security Solutions Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Security Solutions Team is responsible for making sure that our customers are fully prepared for a cybersecurity incident. Our customers know they need to prepare, but do not always have the time, focus, or specific experience to prepare effectively. Our focus is left of the attack, and what our customers can do to avoid or lessen the impact of an incident.

In Short

• Take on unique, complex, and interesting customers to improve their security program.
• Use deep Microsoft Security product knowledge to guide customer security operations.
• Build, plan, design, and implement security programs.
• Identify areas for improvement in Security Solutions Team processes.
• Collaborate with team members to implement proactive outcomes.
• Identify and implement new products and services for Security Solutions.
• Prepare customers for cyber incidents through product delivery.
• Collaborate with infosec organizations on security topics.
• Mentor Security Solutions Team members.
• Research and develop training materials for internal teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years in the Information Security industry.
• Expertise in Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft 365 Security Workloads.
• Experience with security vulnerabilities and active threats.
• Experience in high-pressure environments with high-value customers.
• Ability to balance security and operational priorities.
• Technical proficiency in Information Security controls.
• Broad expertise with IT/network controls.
• Experience with security tool sets: EDR, SIEM, digital forensics.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Previous consulting or service delivery experience in security.
