Overview

We are supporting a partner in their search for an IT Architect specializing in CISCO Network & Security Solutions. The customer is a successful IT service provider with a European presence, employing over 15,500 staff and generating annual revenues exceeding €6 billion.

In Short

• Design and advise on the future of networks with a focus on modern solutions in network and IT security.
• Conceive and implement complex network and firewall solutions.
• Utilize extensive experience with CISCO solutions, while welcoming knowledge of other manufacturers.
• Plan and execute migration projects ensuring seamless transitions to new architectures.
• Support sales teams with technical expertise during the presales phase.
• Contribute to the development of the CISCO Competence Center.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical education with several years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge in areas such as Routing & Switching, Data Center and Cloud Networking, or Network Security.
• Certifications in CISCO Networking or Security at the Professional Level are advantageous.
• Strong teamwork, initiative, and willingness to learn; fluent in German and English.
• Analytical, solution-oriented, and strong communication skills.
