We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law - Litigation Paralegal to join a reputable family law firm located in Maryland, working remotely.

In Short

• Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents.
• Manage case files and maintain documents and evidence.
• Conduct legal research using resources like LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Communicate with clients, courts, and other parties involved in cases.
• Assist with trial preparation and organize exhibits.
• Attend court hearings and trials with attorneys.
• Prepare and maintain billing records.
• Stay updated on changes in family law and regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Family Law - Litigation Paralegal.
• Strong understanding of family law and litigation procedures.
• Proficiency in legal research and legal databases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal software.
• Familiarity with Maryland court rules and procedures is a plus.
