Family Law Paralegal - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Family Law Paralegal with at least 3 years of experience, preferably with strong knowledge of California family law.

In Short

• Professionally communicate with clients about case updates and document requirements.
• Draft, edit, and format legal documents including motions and pleadings.
• Prepare specialized filings such as 'Motion for Reconsideration'.
• Propound and respond to discovery requests.
• Assist attorneys in hearings and mediations.
• Maintain organized digital case files.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Minimum 3 years as a Family Law Paralegal.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• 100% remote position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Family Law Paralegal experience.
• Strong knowledge of California family law procedures preferred.
• Advanced legal writing and formatting skills.
• Experience drafting court-ready documents.
• Strong technical skills with MS Office and legal document tools.
• Ability to follow checklists and attorney instructions accurately.
• Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Proactive and resourceful with the ability to work independently.
• Adaptable to fast-paced legal environments.
