Family Law Paralegal - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Family Law Paralegal with at least 3 years of experience, ideally with strong knowledge of California family law.

In Short

• Client interaction and communication regarding case updates and document needs.
• Draft, edit, and format legal documents including motions and pleadings.
• Manage discovery requests and responses.
• Assist attorneys in hearing and mediation preparation.
• Maintain organized digital case files and track deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to learn AI-based legal tools and practice management platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
• 100% remote position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years as a Family Law Paralegal.
• Strong knowledge of California family law procedures preferred.
• Advanced legal writing and formatting skills.
• Experience drafting court-ready documents.
• Proficient in discovery procedures.
• Ability to follow checklists and attorney instructions accurately.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
