Recidiviz is excited to be hiring a People Operations (HR) Generalist to join our team! In this role, you’ll own and refine key HR processes, support our team, and collaborate with leadership to build a workplace where everyone can do their best work.

• Remote, New York City, or Oakland, CA location.
• Full-time position.
• Salary ranges from $86,000 for remote employees to $94,000 for those in specific metropolitan areas.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain and update HRIS and compliance documentation.
• Administer performance review cycles.
• Coordinate payroll and benefits administration.
• Plan and execute company-wide events.
• Support a growing, mission-driven team.
• 3+ years of relevant HR experience required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in HR.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive employee matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with a customer-service mindset.
• Experience with payroll and benefits administration.
