Senior Product Designer - Remote

Recidiviz is thrilled to be hiring a Sr. Product Designer to join our team! We’re a small, fast-moving group focused on reducing the amount of people in prison in the US. We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of human-centered design to help us build a future where incarcerated people can successfully reintegrate back into their communities.

In Short

• Remote position with options in New York City or Oakland, CA.
• Full-time role focused on product design.
• Compensation set at $124,900.
• Requires 7+ years of experience in product design or UX.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with data collection techniques.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Knowledge of usability testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation.
• Fluency with Figma and other prototyping tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
• Strong empathy for users and their experiences.
• Curiosity about human behavior and design.
• Experience in complex spaces like govtech is preferred.
