In Short

• Hands-on engineering position focusing on backend development.
• 60-70% of time spent writing code, with the rest on mentorship and collaboration.
• Lead technical vision for backend, implementing features and improving Java Spring Microservices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in software engineering methodologies.
• Collaborate with product teams to understand requirements and execute them.
• Drive technical initiatives from concept to completion.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, JPA, and SQL.
• Comfortable writing unit and integration tests.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience as a tech lead with a collaborative attitude.
• Ability to recommend best practices for backend development.
• Strong initiative and self-motivation.
• Ability to work across different time zones.
• Prior experience in a startup environment is a plus.
• BA/BS degree and 10+ years of related experience.
