In Short

• Must be willing to work Eastern (EST) timezone hours, regardless of location.
• US based remote position, candidates outside of the US will not be considered.
• Key member of Real’s R&D team as a Sr. Backend Engineer - Tech Lead.
• Lead the overall technical vision for back end, implementing features and improvements.
• Mentor other engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Collaborate with product team to understand requirements and execute them.
• Drive technical initiatives from concept to completion.
• Work in an agile, fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture required.
• Strong focus on code quality and best practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java 11+, Spring Boot, JPA (Hibernate), and SQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience as a tech lead and mentoring engineers.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team.
• Strong understanding of software engineering methodologies.
• BA/BS degree and 8+ years of related experience.
• Project Coordination/Management skills.
• Real estate background is a plus.
• Comfortable in an agile environment.
• Self-motivated and takes initiative.
