Senior Director, Finance Transformation & Technical Accounting - Remote

Overview

The Senior Director, Finance Transformation & Technical Accounting is responsible for designing and operationalizing scalable business processes and internal controls and policies across the company to support SOX compliance, audit readiness, and long-term operational excellence.

In Short

• Lead the execution of internal control frameworks for SOX compliance.
• Translate Internal Audit’s risk assessments into implementation plans.
• Partner with Finance, IT, and Operations to embed effective controls.
• Assess and redesign core financial and operational processes.

• Support the finance team in preparing financial statements.
• Lead a SOX Program Office and ensure alignment across departments.
• Promote awareness and ownership of controls across the organization.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented controls and policies.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of COSO 2013 internal control.
• Expertise in US GAAP, SEC regulations, and PCAOB audit standards.
• Experience leading SOX compliance programs.
• Knowledge of internal audit principles and regulatory standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Experience in cross-functional implementations of SOX controls.
• Strong understanding of financial system architecture.
