Renewable Energy Manager/Senior Manager, Origination & Contracting - Remote

Overview

The Renewable Energy Manager/Senior Manager, Origination & Contracting will be responsible for originating new business by assisting to develop new and existing customer relationships, communicating Reactivate’s story to key customers and stakeholders.

In Short

• Support execution of deal strategies and assist with market analysis
• Prepare and review financial models, customer proposals and various deal materials for power purchase and offtake agreements
• Conduct targeted outreach to develop new business opportunities and relationships
• Identify and assess potential changing market dynamics or fundamental drivers that could impact price
• Analyze and develop different structures for the customer including risk mitigation solutions
• Support deal execution – draft term sheets, assist in negotiations and manage internal reviews
• Collaborate with various departments such as Legal, FP&A and Asset Management
• Prepare materials for internal leadership review and periodic market updates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Demonstrated track record of selling power
• Experience in community solar and distributed generation markets
• 3-5 years of experience in energy origination, structured transactions, PPAs
• Excellent understanding of US power markets
• Working knowledge of RTO operations, electric transmission and power generation technologies
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, familiarity with CRMs
