Overview

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll lead the charge in transforming our Reach data lake, innovating data ingestion processes, and collaborating with various stakeholders to make a real impact.

In Short

• Design and implement sophisticated data ingestion processes.
• Monitor existing data ingestion processes and develop robust frameworks.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and BI Analysts.
• Utilize Python and various data processing frameworks.
• Acquire data from diverse source systems including APIs and S3 buckets.
• Leverage Infrastructure-as-Code tools for AWS infrastructure provisioning.
• Implement observability mechanisms for data platform monitoring.
• Create comprehensive documentation of processes and design decisions.
• Work independently and as part of a team on multiple projects.
• Contribute to a culture of transparency and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Solid track record in designing and implementing data solutions.
• Experience with enterprise-level data lakes, preferably in media or technology.
• Proven expertise in building data pipelines and orchestrating workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Adept at deploying infrastructure and data processes within AWS.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL - DML & DDL.
• Strong understanding of unit testing for data processes.
• Articulate communicator with collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage personal workload on multiple projects.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
