Overview

In Short

• Contribute to the development and delivery of the company's Environmental Social Governance strategy.
• Maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS) and conduct internal audits.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage legal compliance updates.
• Oversee ESOS compliance and manage stakeholder engagement.
• Collect data for annual reporting and contribute to the Annual Report.
• Conduct research and benchmarking on environmental legislation.
• Engage with initiatives like the Carbon Disclosure Project and Net Zero.
• Provide advice on emerging trends in environmental management.
• Work closely with the Head of Group Property & Environment.
• Receive mentorship and opportunities for career development.

Requirements

• Educational background in Environmental Science.
• Professional certifications in environmental management systems like ISO 14001.
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation and compliance requirements.
• Robust research and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive approach to work.
• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience in drafting reports.
• Ability to monitor legislative impacts.
• Experience in benchmarking exercises.
