Manufacturing and Quality Engineer (Contractor) - Remote

Overview

In this role at R-Zero, you will play a key leadership role across three primary areas: Contract Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality within Manufacturing.

In Short

• Monitor PO progress and develop solutions with Contract Manufacturers.
• Implement manufacturing and quality assurance processes.
• Identify improvements in the supply chain to reduce costs.
• Manage transition of prototypes to manufacturing.
• Onboard new manufacturing partners and ensure quality standards.
• Work cross-functionally to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Implement continuous improvement programs.
• Contribute to Quality Management System implementation.
• Manage PLM tool data with Hardware Engineering.
• Participate in CAPAs related to manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of operations or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a production organization.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• High-level analytical skills and fact-based problem solving.
• Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.
• Initiative and autonomy in decision-making.
• Experience with PLM systems, particularly Arena.
