Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer will oversee the Management of Change and the deployment of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) within the RPCA manufacturing organization, ensuring compliance with GE Aerospace quality standards.

In Short

• Lead APQP processes to ensure zero-defect strategy.
• Develop procedures supporting APQP and AS9145/AS13100 requirements.
• Manage overall Management of Change for legacy products.
• Coach teams on Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) elements.
• Collaborate with leaders to implement changes in legacy product management.
• Ensure compliance with GE Aerospace AS9100 quality system.
• Engage in continuous learning and improvement activities.
• Communicate progress and issues related to NPI projects.
• Travel as needed to support multiple GE Aerospace sites.
• Provide informal guidance to new team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with 10 years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or Quality Engineering.
• Experience with APQP in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Project management skills.
• Understanding of AS9100 and AS13100 standards.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing and statistical methods.
• Ability to mentor technical teams.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information required.
