NPI Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Responsible for transitioning new products from early stage development to production level.
• Work with cross-functional teams including HW designers, systems engineers, and marketing.
• Manage all engineering related activities of QM’s new products.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute the NPI process.
• Set an overall Operational NPI plan and track project progress.
• Define NPI methodologies and ensure smooth product introduction.
• Ensure Design for Manufacturing guidelines are implemented.
• Accountable for production data integrity.
• Analyze and recommend improvements to production processes.
• Serve as a technical mentor during the NPI process.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Industrial/Material engineering - Mandatory.
• Project management capabilities and managerial skills - Mandatory.
• At least 5 years in manufacturing or manufacturing engineering; including NPI experience.
• Proven experience in leading NPI activities and product transfer to production.
• Proven track record of mentoring skilled engineers in a global environment.
• Experience in manufacturing technologies (SMT, Assemblies, etc) – Must!
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with contract manufacturing relations.
• Familiarity with the computing industry is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in English, speaking and writing.
