Overview

The Business Development Manager will drive revenue from methane abatement carbon credits generated from landfill gas projects globally. This role owns the full commercial cycle from market positioning through deal execution and builds relationships with corporate buyers, brokers, and financial institutions.

In Short

  • Own end-to-end sales of LAPID carbon credits.
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline across priority sectors.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Negotiate spot and forward offtake agreements.
  • Maintain pricing discipline and positioning for premium credit quality.
  • Drive deal velocity from initial engagement through contract execution.
  • Establish and grow relationships with brokers, marketplaces, and buyers.
  • Identify and structure strategic partnerships.
  • Represent LAPID at industry events and target buyer engagements.
  • Expand access to new buyer segments and geographies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in business development, sales, or carbon markets.
  • Experience structuring and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Direct experience selling carbon credits or environmental commodities.
  • Proven ability to close complex, multi-stakeholder B2B deals.
  • Strong understanding of voluntary carbon markets and ESG drivers.
