Senior Business Technology Partner - Remote

Overview

The Senior Business Technology Partner (BTP) serves as a key liaison between IT and Operations, ensuring technology solutions effectively support business goals. This role is responsible for driving alignment between business priorities and IT capabilities through active stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration. The BTP will help enable technology by supporting project delivery, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and promoting consistent communication across teams. By bridging the gap between technical and operational groups, this role plays a critical part in supporting unified, enterprise-wide initiatives.

• Serve as a strategic liaison between Departments and IT to align technology initiatives with business goals.
• Translate business needs into clear IT requirements and advocate for solutions that drive operational value.
• Participate in business planning and IT roadmap discussions to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
• Collaborate with project managers to support planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects.
• Assist in defining project scope, requirements, and success metrics in partnership with both business and IT stakeholders.
• Identify and help remove roadblocks that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify skill gaps and contribute to training and development initiatives related to technology adoption.
• Mentor and support team members and business partners in understanding and leveraging technology.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enablement across the organization.
• Ensure that projects and solutions adhere to IT and organizational governance standards and policies.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of business processes and how they interact with IT systems.
• Proven experience in business analysis, project coordination, or IT/business liaison roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Ability to build strong relationships and influence cross-functional teams.
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to drive issues to resolution.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Miro, etc.).
