QAD is seeking a Software Engineer Java with experience of building enterprise applications using Java and web-based technologies to join our growing team.

In Short

Strong proficiency in Java (ranging from Java 6 to Java 17).
Experience with version control systems: SVN and Git.
Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with Linux commands.
Good problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Basic understanding of databases and writing simple queries.
Exposure to frontend technologies.
Experience with Progress OpenEdge is a plus.
3+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Developer.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Proficiency in Java, including core concepts and frameworks.
Familiarity with Progress development tools.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Working knowledge of RESTful web services.
Experience with MariaDB and SQL.
Ability to effectively debug and troubleshoot problems.
Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
