Database Consultant - Remote

Overview

The Database Consultant at Pythian will provide comprehensive support for database and application infrastructure, collaborating with client teams to develop innovative solutions and optimize database performance.

In Short

• Work closely with customers to understand their database needs.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).
• Specialized knowledge in MySQL installation, configuration, and administration.
• Experience with MongoDB and scripting/automation tools is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and independent working skills.
• Good customer service focus and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Understanding of IT service standards such as ITIL is nice to have.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Contributed to Open Source projects relevant to databases.
