Overview

As an Oracle Database Consultant at Pythian, you will provide comprehensive support for managed database and application infrastructure operations for various clients, leveraging your expertise in Oracle technologies.

In Short

• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases.
• Perform Oracle Administration including RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, and performance tuning.
• Design and implement backup/recovery strategies.
• Set up Oracle replication and coding scripts.
• Develop monitoring methods and perform Linux/Unix scripting.
• Work with external customers and manage projects.
• Recommend best practices for operational improvements.
• Administer backup procedures and disaster recovery plans.
• Participate in on-call coverage and communicate with team members.
• Collaborate with remote team members.

Requirements
