Solutions Engineer - Remote

Overview

Protex AI is a VC-backed technology company building a privacy-preserving computer vision platform to enable proactive Health and Safety (EHS) workflows. We leverage the domain knowledge of EHS teams to help our computer vision system understand the concept of danger, preventing accidents before they occur. Our mission is to ensure that every worker goes home safe and healthy every day.

In Short

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure effective problem resolution.
• Support client-facing teams with explanations of complex problems.
• Debug and resolve camera-related and networking issues.
• Monitor and investigate system issues using AWS CloudWatch.
• Troubleshoot integration issues between edge devices and cloud.
• Provide escalated technical support for system installations.
• Debug Python and JavaScript code as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical role.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and conferences.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated AWS experience.
• Expertise in Python coding language.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and command line interface.
