Senior Financial Analyst - Remote

In Short

• Analyze the profitability of APD’s major product lines and programs.
• Develop reports and analytics to support financial operations.
• Assist with cost/benefit analysis and budget/forecast projections.
• Support the Financial Reporting team with the monthly close process.
• Maintain operational and statistical reports.
• Regular contact with Senior Management and various departments.
• Oversee development related to automated journal entry processing.
• Assist in the development of financial projections and plans.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Minimum of 8-10 years financial/insurance experience required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; Master’s and/or CPA preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and SQL.
• Experience with Power BI, SAP, and Workiva preferred.
• Self-directing with strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of insurance industry and GAAP required.
